The rear brakes were terrible and squealing on the Patriot and it only had 60K on it. I was told by the dealer that they had a 100 something point inspection which apparently didn't include the brakes. The Vibe had good brakes.
I continually average 32-35mpg with the Vibe. I don't think I would get that with the Patriot.
The Vibe/Matirx seems to hold their value very well.
Very good visibility out of the Vibe compared to the Patriot.
