I found a great price on my WRX from a private seller. Was in stock form and seem to run fine.

Brand reputation & image

I like how Subaru advertises on television of love for a Subaru. Also Subaru has dealer sponsered events, which is a big plus! I love attending those events and chatting with other subaru owners.

Reliability & durability

I heard from lots of people (strangers & friends) of how durably the subaru engine is. On the other hand I also heard how unrealiable the transmissions can be. But I learned to realize that it all depends on the driver and the habits. My trans is great.

Safety & braking

I love the feature of side air bags in my Subaru. It has received 5/4 start crash tests which are also as important as reliablity.

Interior styling

Interior has mostly stayed the same since 2002. The 2008 has been totally redone and I think it was long overdue. My first impression of getting inside a WRX was "this feels real cheap" but this was something I would get over.Safety is most important.

Audio & nav systems

The audio is horrible in the WRX. First thing i did was swap out all the speakers and buy an OEM Subaru amp/subwoofer under the seat. Headunit is nice and the AUX port is a good option to have.
