2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Toyota gave the 2013 RAV4 surprisingly firm suspension tuning. While this helped the crossover handle responsively, it hurt ride quality. People complained. With a 2016 refresh Toyota softened the suspension to the point of mushiness. The 2019 strikes a pretty good balance between the 2013 and 2016. Its handling... Comparison vehicle: 2019 Subaru Forester |

2017 Kia Niro Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh In casual driving the Kia Niro feels solid and polished. Nothing special, just a good all-around vehicle. The steering has a moderate amount of heft but feels somewhat numb and artificial. Engaging sport mode with the shift lever firms up the steering a little. Push the Niro, though, and... Barely average 2013 Toyota RAV4 Pros and Cons Member2819 My RAV4 is AWD and it handles great on snow and ice. I have (had) other 4WD / AWD vehicles and so far, the RAV4 has been the best. The AWD system operation si so quick and smooth that you hardly notice it's there. |
2013 Toyota RAV4 Pros and Cons Member5992 Handling overall is fine but the electric power steering is extremely light and vague when driving at very low speeds. Once you pick up speed it has more weight to it but pulling into a parking spot for example the steering gets way too light. |

2014 Mazda CX-5 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh While the Mazda CX-5 and Toyota RAV4 both put a high priority on handling, they feel very different. The RAV4's tuning is much firmer and tighter. It sounds and feels more raw. In comparison, the CX-5's steering and handling are much more subtle and nuanced. It flows through even bumpy... 2013 Toyota RAV4 AWD Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh For years, car reviewers have denigrated Toyotas as boring appliances. Well, Toyota has grown tired of this criticism. In a surprisingly successful change, the new RAV4 is quite fun to drive. In turns, the front suspension takes a firm set following a moderate amount of well-controlled lean, and you'll be... 2010 Toyota RAV4 Pros and Cons Member4951 The Rav is relatively light and hast a tight turning radius. The Rav also take corner with aplomb and feels very nimble for a SUV. |

2011 Toyota RAV4 Pros and Cons Member4600 Compared to others in its class, expansion joints make their way into the cabin a bit more. Still, at the limit, it is very communicative and inspiring. Excellent chassis design, with very little roll or delay on turn-in. |
