My front brakes were worn out, and the rotors were very rusted inside the cooling fins. I believe that is because the truck was used in Canada on salted roads. I have not had any further issues with the brakes. |
70000 mi | Replaced front brake dust shields due to vibrating brakes as recommended in TSB. |

Was checking brakes for pulsating issue and during inspection they discovered that the right rear caliper had a broken bolt, that could not be drilled out so a new caliper was purchased and installed. The rest of the brakes were all ok from the previous job. The pulsating could be coming from a slight warp in a rotor but I wouldn't have them replaced as they're less than a year old and premium Brembo's. |
