13000 mi Car began hesitating, clunking into gears and felt like it was going to die. Caused by a wiring harness that is part of a new recall. Parts for the recall are not available for another month so dealer made repairs to the harness instead.

37300 mi initial road trip with car, on the freeway, intermittent odd noise coming from rear of vehicle. Started engine using process to start a flooded engine. Shop could not duplicate. Same symptoms as above. I diagnosed the issue based on knowledge of recall on Mazda vehicles. 35000 mi Low coolant warning light appeared. Dealer replaced leaking water pump. The vehicle claimed it was overheating and would not move. Towed to dealer, and they couldn't find a problem. They topped off the coolant and returned the car to me. 
35000 mi coolant leak by water pump (lines to turbo) snugged up hollow bolt on copper crush washers 
38000 mi Coolant leak on turbo lines at water pump, recall 
11160 mi Car vibrates incredibly when at a standstill when in Drive, or Reverse. When in neutral or park it doesn't vibrate at all. Ford says they can't do anything about it. Seems like a drivetrain issue but Ford is ignoring. Only present on 1.6L. 
7000 mi Odor of coolant after driving. Had to replace degas tank to correct. POOR MPG's. Advertised as 30mpg highway. Never better than 23. Ford knows of issue and will come out with a re-flash for the engine software this summer. That is what I was told by dealer.

3100 mi Suddenly the main screen displayed "Engine failure" and the engine became extremely weak. They ran some diagnostics but couldn't find a cause, it fixed itself. It looked like overheating to me. Rescheduled for a software reset next Tuesday. Engine failure warning, no acceleration, diagnosed as acceleration body failure, sensors not reporting back to main computer. Repair delay due to replacement part shipping and testing.
