Engine began lurching at low RPM, usually in higher gear, about three months ago. Rough idle appeared with regularity a few weeks later. Used 3-4 rounds of fuel additives and replaced air filter and spark plugs myself; no improvement. Dealer diagnosed misfire on one piston. Ignition coil was identified as the cause by moving the coil to another spark plug; misfire was then detected on that piston. Replaced faulty ignition coil, both issues appear to be resolved.
19200 mi When the engine was not at operating temp, at wide open throttle, it would "bog" down and lose power. Misfire & stalled once. Replaced fuel pump, cleaned injectors and then replaced all 4 coil packs.
21000 mi Died, threw codes. Hyundai area techs kept guessing what was wrong. So frustrating.
