Warning message that vehicle had a "suspension problem" and needed to "immediately" be returned to the Jeep dealer. We were told "a suspension (ride height control) module has failed." A new module is on order but will not arrive at the dealership until Tuesday, 10 October. We picked up our car today, 6 October, because my wife and I are flying to Hawaii on 9 October. We'll have the module replaced after returning to Utah in late December. (We were told the module will be replaced under the dealer's "LandCar Warranty" that was added to the price of the Grand Cherokee when we bought it new on 21 March 2014. We have a $100.00 deductible on the "module" and labor for replacing it.
34000 mi
US $200
Ride height control module replaced. We have an extended warranty on the Jeep. We paid the deductible, which was $200.00. The dealership, Larry H. Miller Jeep of Provo, Utah, had the car for a week (related in part to a 3 day weekend). They furnished my wife with a Jeep Renegade---and, surprise of surprises, they did not charge her for the "rental" car! The exact odometer reading as of 28 February 2018 is: 35,250 miles. This mileage is still valid as of 2 April 2018, as we've been on Molokai since the evening of 28 February.

Noticed left rear shock was leaking, apparently leaking for some time. Dealer didn't tell me during previous visit. Called and set up another appointment. I said "one of my shocks is leaking". Received automatic email from dealer which stated "customer states left rear shock is leaking". Dealer read my mind! Extended warranty covered cost after $100 deductible, but would only replace ONE shock. I thought these had to be replaced in pairs! I'm done with Chrysler and Wickstrom Jeep in Barrington, IL.

Around 0 degrees outside. Got "Service Air Suspension System Immediately" error message when I started the engine. Scheduled a trip to the dealer. When I showed up they said "moisture in air suspension froze", "to be expected given the weather", "nothing they could do", but "still safe to drive". I sure wish they would have told me that over the phone and saved me the trip.
