At an oil change, the dealer found a broken spring in the left rear suspension. I must've hit one of the many potholes in my area :( and broken it. I looked a long time to get a good quality spring that was less expensive than the dealer. Finally found one manufactured in Sweden (!). Had a good shop install the spring. All good. |

I thought my tires were especially noisy. Turns out the front left wheel bearing was in really terrible shape and the speed sensor was shot. Both were replaced. Labor was expensive as it is everywhere. Front left wheel bearing went bad. This is the same side as a broken rear suspension spring which makes me feel it’s possible an encounter with a big pothole may have hastened these parts demise. |
35000 mi | Creaking/crunching noise from front when driving over bumps has become more pervasive from after my first 10k miles. A replacement was done at the front relating to the bushing. Sound is gone. |
