2016 Volvo XC90 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The old Volvo XC90's fuel economy was stuck in the early 2000s. When fitted with a 311-horsepower 4.4-liter V8 (last offered for 2011) its EPA ratings were 13 mpg city, 19 mpg highway. The 240-horsepower 3.2-liter inline-six that powered all first-generation XC90s in recent years managed little better, 15/21. Comparison vehicle: 2016 Acura MDX |
2003 Acura MDX Pros and Cons Member5710 Not the best, but hey...one knows this getting in. |

2014 Acura MDX Pros and Cons Member5974 Bought this car because the fuel economy was the same as the Hybrid SUV I was looking to replace. Best miliage is on the highway with AC off at 27 MPG. It gets 23-24 in the city with AC off. |

2014 Acura MDX Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh In addition to trimming the size and weight of the MDX, Acura also reduced the size of the V6 engine from 3.7 to 3.5 liters. Thanks to direct injection the new, smaller engine is nearly as powerful (290 vs. 300 horsepower), and is even a little punchier at low rpm.... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Infiniti QX60 |
A solid SUV choice..... 2012 Acura MDX Pros and Cons Member5432 Gas mileage is not good. The best I get is around 20 mpg, and use 91 octane as reccommended. I've tried mid-grade 89 octane with no noticable difference but for $1.00-$2.00 per tankful, I'm choosing to stick with what is reccommended. It would be nice to have a front... |

|
2008 Acura MDX Pros and Cons Member2849 I have yet to see 15 city/20 hwy, even with 12k on the odometer and not driving it hard. 13/18 is more like it. |

2002 Acura MDX Pros and Cons Member2588 I have averaged 25 mpg on the road, occasionally reaching 26-7. Ethanol is bad for it (as it is on all older cars). |
