Why the 2007 Audi A3?

Why Not the 2007 Audi A3?

Materials & workmanship

I got the car as a certified, pre-owned car with 55k miles. It has had over $6000.00 in repars in the first year and spent about 20 days in the shop? I recommend budgeting about $3000-$4000 annually for repairs, even under the CPO warranty.

Warranty, maintenance cost

It has been a constant battle to get Aufi to pay for repairs under the CPO warranty. Barring drivetrain issues, the warranty is worthless. Expect something to break every other month. When repairs are covered under warranty, you have to pay an $85 'copay'.

Front seat room

Due to the position of the doors it is hard to get in and out of the car.

Driving position & visibility

It is difficult to see out of the car to the back and sides. The windshield scratches easily; budget to replace it every 2-3 years.
