What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt

2008 Chevrolet Cobalt Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr Sedan turbocharged 260hp 2.0L I4
5-speed manual FWD
4 door has more headroom and backseat is much improved over the 2 door i previously owned see full Chevrolet Cobalt review
2007 2dr Coupe 173-horsepower 2.4L I4
5-speed manual FWD
The 6 way adjustable drivers seat really makes for a comfortable ride. Driving upwards of 700km a day for 4 days straight gave me a great chance to test this out, and I never once got stiff and sore. see full Chevrolet Cobalt review
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 2dr Coupe turbocharged 260hp 2.0L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Not alot of head room and the steering wheel does not telescope. I fit in it fine but someone tall might not. minor thing really. see full Chevrolet Cobalt review
2008 4dr Sedan 148-horsepower 2.2L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Hard and thin seat cushions. Legs would feel fatigue after a couple hours of driving. see full Chevrolet Cobalt review
2007 2dr Coupe 148-horsepower 2.2L I4
5-speed manual FWD
In coupe form, the rear seats are cramped and and things can be somewhat claustrophobic in the back. see full Chevrolet Cobalt review
2007 4dr Sedan 148-horsepower 2.2L I4
5-speed manual FWD
The rear seat leg-room is not for adults. Only small kids can fit back there. see full Chevrolet Cobalt review
2007 2dr Coupe 148-horsepower 2.2L I4
4-speed automatic FWD
It is a sport compact car, so as one would expect, the rear seat is fairly difficult to get to, but once you are there, it is quite comfortable. see full Chevrolet Cobalt review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2013 Nissan Versa

2013 Nissan Versa Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2014 0 I was expecting zero room in the back, but I sat in the backseat even with the drivers seat adjusted far back (I'm 5'11" but long legs and tend to adjust seats to the back end of their travel), I had reasonable legroom for a very compact car. The seat covering material was pleasant as well. see full Nissan Versa review
2013 4dr Sedan 109-horsepower 1.6L I4
5-speed manual FWD
Even with the front seats slid all the way back, this car still has more room than almost any other car -- almost as much room as a BMW 780IL. see full Nissan Versa review
2012 4dr Sedan 109-horsepower 1.6L I4
CVT FWD
Only subcompact we test drove that could actually fit four adults. More rear leg room than many midsize cars. see full Nissan Versa review
2013 Nissan Versa Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2013 4dr Sedan 109-horsepower 1.6L I4
5-speed manual FWD
When I bought the car, I laid the seat down all the way to make sure it would be comfortable enough to nap on.  It is, but it's slightly more comfortable if the car is parked on an incline because the seat doesn't quite go down completely flat... although come to think of it I haven't tried raising the seat height with the lever then setting the seat back.  Anyway, the passenger side doesn't have a seat height adjustment lever and it doesn't quite make a 180% flat angle either. see full Nissan Versa review
