You seem to be lucky. My 04 impala base gave me no problems until the 95 k mark. In short succession, transmission replaced, rack and pinion major leak, power steering pump, leaking, alternator shorted out, misfiring plug killed catalytic converter, now dashboard speedometer and gas have dead. Still gets 31mpg on the highway and fits the grandkids in comfort. I have footed the bills, cause I love the car. Killing me in bills. On the outside it looks like the day it was born. Internally dieing .
