2005 Ford Focus Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by Dyuengling

Handling
Even though the chassis is now 8 years old, the vehicle handles extremely well. It is a joy to drive every day. The suspension and steering communicate so well that you forget your driving an economy car.
Safety & braking
The focus brakes are European hard. They grip well, and have very little fade.
Price or payments
The car is very affordable. I bought my focus new at a very good price, and my payments are pretty low.
Quietness
There is an awful lot of intake noise from the engine. I think it is because of the plastic plenum that is used.
Depreciation
The vehicle has a high depreciation. I plan on holding on to vehicle until it dies.
Dealer practices
Dealer service is terrible. I have been to 4 different dealers for service, and only one of the dealers had a nice waiting room and did not treat you like a second class citizen. Unfortunately, that dealer went out of business.
