Why the 2005 Ford Focus?

Cargo capacity

Hatchback model provides a large amount of useable cargo space, even with four adult passengers

Powertrain performance

Handles more like a sports car than a small family hatchback. It has a surprising amount of power and torque, and I have had no problem passing other traffic in the Rocky Mountains

Fuel economy

I recorded over 42 MPG on a 2500 kilometer trip from the West Coast, and we normally average over 24 MPG in the city.
