2009 | 4dr SUV 288-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Lots of head room for tall folks. Comfortable seats. Lots of knee room. see full GMC Acadia review |

Power seats have versatile adjustments. Thigh support is better than some compact SUVs that I compared. Tilt and telescoping steering wheel is flexible for driving position. see full GMC Acadia review |
2008 | 4dr SUV 275-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
Since this is our family hauler, it needed to accommodate 5 people, with enough space between 3 kids to keep long trips bearable. Adults can sit comfortably in the third row. see full GMC Acadia review |
2008 | 4dr SUV 275-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
3rd row is big enough for adults, leg room & head room, comfortable bench seat; 2nd row captains chairs were an option that I chose; easy to get around 2nd row and into 3rd row. I believe the Acadia was 11" longer than the Toyota Highlander. see full GMC Acadia review |

Captain chairs makes it easier to bring the dog on long trips. see full GMC Acadia review |

Third row seating actually is practical. see full GMC Acadia review |

There are very few SUVs that can seat 7 VERY comfortably that are not HUGE suburban type SUVs. We are very pleased that the 3rd row can truly seat 3 adults with no issues. I love that I can still load it up at Costco by folding the 3rd seat down! see full GMC Acadia review |

Love how comfy it is-- heated seats, (though I would have loved the 2009 A/C seats on my 2008-- boo hoo!), all the controls-- love the music controls on the steering wheel. see full GMC Acadia review |

Best 3rd row leg room in its class. Smart slide seats provide easy access to 3rd row see full GMC Acadia review |

2008 | 4dr SUV 275-horsepower 3.6L V6 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
Have taken this car on long trips, 14 hours of driving, multiple days in a row. The front seats are ok but not very comfortable. It's even tiring for the passenger. see full GMC Acadia review |

2012 | 4dr Sedan 156-horsepower 2.5L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD |
Being 6' 3" it can be hard to find a car where I have sufficient legroom & headroom. In the Fusion Hybrid there was lots of space, even with a sunroof. There are also padded surfaces where my left knee rests against the door and where my right leg rests against the center console. The Camry Hybrid was not comfortable. The doors are hard plastic and there was no soft place to rest my knee. The center console was also hard plastic. see full Toyota Camry review |
2012 | 4dr Sedan 178-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
We will use this as a "road car" on longer trips so front seat comfort along with interior -and- trunk room is very good, better than Kia Optima considered. Two large adults comment rear seat also very comfortable. Front seat easier exit too. see full Toyota Camry review |
2012 Toyota Camry Seat Room and Comfort: Cons | ||

2013 | 0 | Nice ergonomic shape, but not enough padding. Leather seats feel decidedly firm after two months of ownership. Seat cushion length should be slightly longer for thigh support. see full Toyota Camry review |
2012 | 4dr Sedan 156-horsepower 2.5L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD |
The door sills are very high which made it tough for me to get my size 13 shoes up and over when sitting behind a front seat that is all the way back. The door sills in the Camry were lower so while there was no more rear seat room than in the Fusion is was possible to get my feet out more easily. see full Toyota Camry review |
2012 | 4dr Sedan 156-horsepower 2.5L I4 Hybrid CVT FWD |
You can see I'm really reaching here to find things that we didn't like about the Fusion Hybrid, but here's one more... There is a small step up in front of the front seats which made it hard to cross my legs like when traveling on road trips. see full Toyota Camry review |

front seat could be improved for better thigh support for tall drivers see full Toyota Camry review |
