Why the 2012 GMC Acadia?

Exterior styling

I find the Acadia is perfect blend of a SUV that looks like a truck but has a utility of a minivan and capabilities of a truck.

Cargo capacity

The rear cargo capacity with the third row was unmatched with any other competitor.

Discounts & incentives

0.9% financing and the rebate put the value for this car well ahead of the crowd. The car was most economical to own annually, considering the payments, cost of insurance and fuel, plus maintenance.

Rear seat room & comfort

The third room has enough head room to even fit an adult comfortably and is wide enough to accommodate three individuals. It is one of the few SUV's that offer 8 seat capacity and has a larger interior capacity than a Tahoe.

Why Not the 2012 GMC Acadia?

Feature availability

Something as basic as the current fuel economy is not displayed on an SLE, you have to go to a SLT to get that feature. In my opinion this should be a standard on all vehicles. Heated seats should also be standard as they are on even compact cars.

Audio & nav systems

The rear view camera should be displayed in the lcd screen and not in the mirror

Materials & workmanship

The workmanship could have certainly been more meticulous although i have not encountered any issues so far.

Warranty, maintenance cost

The warranty should be extended to compete against the korean brands. This will really be a huge incentive to purchase a GM vehicle.
