2013 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons queenofblades This car has some serious kick for a 4 cyl. engine. I never have issues merging on the highway or passing other vehicles. It really is fun to drive in that aspect. Definitely faster than my old 01' Accord. |

2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid isn't the quickest midsize sedan hybrid. That honor goes to the Toyota Camry followed closely by the Honda Accord, both of which have much stronger electric motors than the Hyundai (141 and 166 horsepower, respectively, vs. 51). Compared to those cars, the Sonata Hybrid takes another... Comparison vehicle: 2015 Toyota Camry |

2015 Hyundai Sonata Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh The 2011 Hyundai Sonata burst onto the midsize sedan scene with segment-leading power ratings. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine was good for 198 horsepower (200 in SE trim). The turbocharged 2.0-liter for 274. A funny thing has happened with the 2015 redesign: the peak power outputs of these engines... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Ford Fusion |
Very poor investment. Had expected much more for a car that was initially high quality 2004 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons A member in Pennsylvania, United States sluggish at times and when you tromp on the gas to merge into traffic or pass something may or may not happen. shifting is laggy. |

2012 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member5269 I have 54K miles on my 2012 Sonata Limited. Have not had any issues at all with this car. Keep the oil changed "Mobil 1 synthetic" everything runs just fine. Can't say anything jumps out asamazing or anything. This is just an easy car to drive & live with. I... |

2009 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3494 Overall the 2009 I4 motor with the 5 speed auto is a perfect match for the car. Plenty of acceleration without being over powered. Gear spacing in the transmission is perfect. Only complaint about the powertrain is Hyundai's choice of downshifting 2 gears while cruise control is... |

2013 Hyundai Sonata SE Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh I was scheduled to test a 2013 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.0T, with a 274-horsepower turbocharged engine. I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that for the first two days I drove this red Sonata I didn't realize that it wasn't the turbo. Granted, it didn't feel as effortlessly powerful as the related... Little Things Mean a Lot One Year In 2011 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons mertensr Acceleration is best in class for non-turbo, 4-cylinder engine. I appreciate car's ability to quickly pass on two lane roads. Transmission is among best I have experienced. People who drive my car swear it has a 6-cylinder engine. |

Great, but skip the turbo if you drive in the city 2012 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member5294 Excellent acceleration, smooth and pleasant engine. Transmission shifts smoothly and usually selects correct gear on its own. The paddle shifters are pleasant but not necessary. Regular unleaded requirement is great with high fuel prices, but the downside is terrible city fuel economy, even with a pretty light foot. |

2013 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3077 A bit underpowered but comparison is against a Maxima 3.5L. Still is fairly peppy and can be aggressive when needed. |

2009 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member4790 The four cylinder engine is more than adequate for both city and highway driving. The car cruises effortlessly at 75-80 mph and is quite quiet doing so. |

2011 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member4750 198 hp is the highest in class, 0-60 in about 8.1 sec. |

2003 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3859 I hate the feeling when I see how weak my Sonata is when AC is working, huh. When it comes to start after green light is on, omg. I rather turn off the AC for a moment, and when I have my designated velocity I put my AC back on. |
|
2009 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member4561 175 hp is not enough. This is a heavy car with all the amenities in the GLS. Stereo, plush seats, heavy dash, stability control, heavier steel panels tolls in weight but excellent manual stick when driving on ice sheets or tough snow, light snow a breeze. |
