10000 mi rear transaxle replacement
14000 mi Transmission was reflashed with updated software to fix a number of shifting issues.
28700 mi Scraping noise from right front. Diagnosed as right front center driveshaft. Wheel bearing and driveshaft were ordered. Currently waiting on parts, so it hasn't been repaired yet. Front driveshaft bearings. Reported same problem previous quarter, but was waiting on parts. Parts came in, repaired in one day and now fine. Took it to a different dealer first & they misdiagnosed it as a cv joint.

12500 mi Re Flash transmission.
2000 mi Dealer Updated TCU and PCU on Vehicle
20000 mi Valve body replaced. A few transmission problems: rough shifts, hesitation, no 3-2 downshift, first to reverse delay. The valve body change did help some, but not the solution. FCA makes the dealer do this before replacement as protocol.
24000 mi transmission replaced
24800 mi FCA is repuchasing the vehicle
17400 mi dtm problem 4wd service light on no 4x4

12000 mi Flash TCM to latest revision. Really improved shifting and downshifting issues.
29140 mi Check Engine Light PCM Replaced Updated Software
37200 mi -Rough shifting -Skipping 2nd gear when slowing down, done to address a design flaw They replaced the Powertrain control module on the first visit, then updated the programming on the next two visits. They ultimately shared it is performing as designed. Not sure I agree with their assessment. Essentially I need a new transmission which they are unwilling to do so need to live with the lurching and jerking until I can replace the vehicle.
29000 mi Hydraulic pressure sensor failure. Replace transmission valve body under manufacture warranty.
37800 mi Service transmission light came on. Transmission went into limp mode. TCU and TCU control cable failure. Both were replaced under power train warranty.
17906 mi PTU failed. Vehicle towed to dealer and part replaced. PTU/transfer case failed while driving. Vehicle was towed to dealership and part was replaced.
22630 mi Heard whistling coming from under the vehicle. Dealer determined it was the rear differential and replaced it, whistling stopped.
34675 mi Heard same whistling that was fixed by previous rear differential replacement. This time dealer determined it was the drive shaft. Dealer replaced the drive shaft, but vehicle is still making a whistling/bearing noise from under vehicle (loud & echoes off of buildings when driving) Will be taking it back to dealer asap.
44000 mi

US $100
In cold weather, below 10f, the transmission doesn't work, and the remote start shuts down after 10 seconds. The dealer updated the software at a cost of $100 but it did not solve the problem. Same things happen in cold weather.

184-horsepower 2.4L I4 9-speed shiftable automatic FWD

5000 mi Gears pop and vehicle jumps out of parking spot.
32000 mi Central control unit for transmission failed. Replaced under warranty.
21600 mi After a software update due to a recall for an incorrectly installed snap ring the transmission lacks a 3-2-1 downshift. So minimal engine braking. Also stays in low gear after passing level acceleration.
44000 mi Transmission shifting poorly
48000 mi Transmission driveability issues never resolved. Minimal engine braking, some hard shifts, sometimes holds a gear far too long. I had to take the vehicle in 3 times for a "shifter error", which was still happening off and on until I traded the vehicle. The shifter error did seem to be just that, a problem with the shifter electronics or shifter connections as it never affected trans operation. It was a real pain though as an error pops up in the DIC and you have to pull over and turn the vehicle on and off to clear or just keep driving with a useless information cluster until that is done.

27000 mi Service Shifter warning came on 8 plus times in the last gew months. Dealer can find no code.

2000 mi Had shifting issues, transmission was replaced. It's like a different vehicle...much better! Low speed wobble on acceleration is still present. No TSB's available for the FWD V6. It would be nice to get this corrected.

6300 mi Refresh the transmission computer
7200 mi Flashed the transmission a second time. It still didn't fix the issue, the shifting still is not correct. It picks gears that will get you killed if you try to pull out infront of someone. It downshifts twice when passing sometimes.
11500 mi front PTU failed from within, spilling gear lube over engine. Was replaced under warranty.
27900 mi Leaking joint

14000 mi Another re flash seems much smoother now shift wise
15500 mi Service trans light came on trans was slipping Valve body replaced, range sensor also replaced
4000 mi Hard shifting. Dealer confirmed transmission problem. Transmission shifting hard. Dealer refused test drive. Said it was fine.
2000 mi Erratic transmission operation. Vehicle would not move after being stopped at traffic signal, on three occasions. Required vehicle to be shut down and restarted. Vehicle dropped out of cruise control at 75 mph and told driver to engage Drive
7000 mi Had a loud clunk while shifting from reverse to drive, as well as erratic cruise control, on occasion. Completed TSB 21-018-14 for Transmission Flash. Completed TSB 18-013-14 . Flashed PCM
7500 mi Wife was driving on I-90, at 75 mph when the transmission disengaged. No drive to the wheels. Had to be towed to dealer. This was repeat problem. Found fault codes for TCM failure. Ordered new TCM (Transmission Control Module). Replaced.
835 mi Front passenger wheel speed sensor replaced.

32178 mi Replaced transmission after reporting many instances of harsh 3-2 and 3-1 downshifts.
2000 mi trans temp quickly climbed into the 200's and shifting became "lurchy". Shifts into and out of 5th gear seemed the worst. Downshifts into 2nd gear at stop lights were also abrupt. Dealer Diagnosis: complete trans replacement required.
3100 mi Stalling issues. Transmission replaced, engine wiring harnesses replaced, TCM sensor replaced, steering sensor replaced, gas tank replaced, fuel pump replaced. New problems keep emerging and dealer is stumped. $23527

6000 mi Loud mechanical snap when shifting from park to drive after vehicle start. CV half-shafts removed and greased. Replaced rear torque strut mount. No change in symptoms. Binding/clank/snap of drivetrain components when reversing and turning. Still unresolved.
4900 mi Very slow shift from reverse to drive
7200 mi Slow shifting from reverse to drive.
12000 mi Updated modules: Power transfer unit; Drive train control; Radio frequency module; Instrument Panel cluster; Body control module; Electric park brake; Transmission control module.
1000 mi Wobbles in 2nd gear between 1800 and 2200 RPM. Trans software up to date. Dealer believes it's front axles, and trans mount. Further repair required, awaiting parts.
2000 mi Front axles and trans mount replaced. Vehicle still wobbles between 1800-2200 RPM in 2nd gear. Chrysler says hold on additional repairs until solution is found. Awaiting Chrysler solution.

11000 mi Not downshifting, causing a lag/no power when performing a rolling stop, as well as infrequent harsh shifting. Wobble/vibration when accelerating, due to incorrect axle installed previous visit. Wobble while accelerating.
