5-speed automatic RWD		 A quick comment about motor oil: Castrol GTX Extended Mileage improved my observed MPG by 2! I have always run Castrol GTX, the non-synthetic, cheapest bottle, "dino" oil. It has always performed well as far as I could tell, but I saw a $15 jug at Wal*Mart intended/designed for the 75,000+ engines out there. On a whim I tried it, and instead of my mileage averaging 19-21, I actually got a run of 22.9. The 22.9 MPG was on a strictly highway cruising trip of 4 hours total, but I was completed surprised. I switched back to the normal GTX at the next oil change, and my mileage dropped back to 19-21 MPG. I always change oil around 4-5,000 miles. 4-speed automatic FWD		 I bought this car almost specifically for my "road" car, for trips, but do occasionally use it around town. I don't know how the other reviewers are driving their cars but I get what I think is great mileage, mid-teens around town and 28-29mgh on trips/hwy at 75MPH. 4-speed automatic FWD		 Great on the highway. At 65 I get a consistant 25mpg. The city is an entirely different story. In stop and go city driving, the best I've ever gotten is 10mpg. The average is 8mpg. The EPA estimates 17 in the city. They are off their rocker. This car sucks gas in city driving. 4-speed automatic FWD		 City gas mileage is pathetic. Since new I was lucky to get 10 mpg in the city, but in stop and go it's 8 mpg. When the car was newer, I took it to the dealer, and they checked everything out. I was told that it's a big V8. The Northstar engine is an embarrassment. see full Cadillac DTS review
