A Surprisingly Practical and Reliable Car 2005 Mazda RX-8 Love Letter A member in California, United States Before I got into my accident, I had the car for over a year. I bought the car used from a cheap charity auto dealership. This car was the best on the lot. It sounded good, it looked good, the paint was in decent condition. |

RX-8 - Handles like a Lotus, but seats four! 2009 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons Member5306 Mazda is known as the zoom-zoom company for a reason. They make mainstream sedans, hatchbacks and crossovers that are genuinely fun to drive. What happens when they decide to forget about the mainstream and design a serious sports car? There's the MX-5 Miata and this, the RX-8. | |

Mazda Rx8 2004 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons Member5737 I wasn't really thinking about buying an Rx8 when I went to buy a car. Once I took the Rx8 for a test drive, I was hooked. Some of the other cars I test drove at the time (2004) were: Nissan 350z, Acura RSX Type S, Dodge SRT4, Mazda6. |

2004 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons Member5277 Revs, revs, revs, this car absolutely lives and dies by the high revs that the engine loves. Unlike a conventional engine, the rotary has no durability issues from maintaining high revs or for that matter suffers much in the gas mileage department. |

2010 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons Member4354 The R3 Recaro seats had side bolsters that were a bit tight for us. I am below average in size as a male, and my wife is also very small and we found the bolsters cut into our hips far more than was comfortable. The seats are racing oriented only. |

|
2004 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons Member3372 50/50 weight balance that makes the car feel light as a feather through turns. |
|
2007 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons Member3128 Like a go-cart, the car goes where you point it accurately, immediately and with no hesitation. With too much throttle in a corner the TCS keeps the tail from coming around. I feel very confident driving this car aggressively. |
|
2004 Mazda RX-8 Pros and Cons A member in Georgia, United States It does not look like any other car out there right now. Very unique and the suicide doors only add to the "curb appeal". |
