Transmission serviced per Ford Customer Satisfaction Program 10B15
Transmission failure. Root cause was missing circlip, selling dealer performing TSB incorrectly, resulting in extensive damage to the transmission. A complete rebuild including new planetary gears was required.
Transmission programming updated under warranty to resolve hesitant shifting to Drive
from complete stop trans wouldn't engage for few seconds-when did engage made loud "clunk" & lunged; still feels like it slips; this time they replaced trans clutches and reprogrammed again
dealer installed black box for sporadic problem but would not leave on long enough for problem to occur (recurring transmission problem for which car has been in dealer @ least 9x already). occurrence happened within 5 days of removing box
Transmission issues never resolved.
Flaring during shifting into 3rd gear. Shifts better but continues to Flare when cold, after replacement of shift assembly.
Replaced the left axle
rough shifting - updated programs in transmission
Transmission was experiencing a slightly rough 1-2 and 2-3 shift. Dealer re-flashed transmission computer.

Left front Axle Axle Shaft/CVJOINT replacement.rnAE5Z 3A427 E SHAFT
Wrench light would come on after a period of use, this occurred since car was almost new. Apparently PCM calibration was out of date and the system supposedly related to the transmission needed to be reprogrammed/reflashed.
