Introduction

We wanted an economy SUV for getting around town and making short trips. The car has ample room for passengers and cargo. Its features like the Navigation system, Bluetooth and Bose system make it an enjoyable car to drive. Its also nice to have heated seats in the winter.

Why the 2012 Nissan Rogue?

Materials & workmanship

This is a well built vehicle and has nice lines. The materials and components are good quality with no squeaks or rattles. The car feels solid.

Exterior styling

It looks like the Lexus SUV and is very handsome.

Fuel economy

Good fuel economy, with an average of 24 mpg with mixed driving.

Handling

For a small SUV, this car handles nice on windy roads, and is fun to drive.

Safety & braking

Excellent safety features and the camera system really helps you when parking.

Why Not the 2012 Nissan Rogue?

Powertrain performance

Some people won't like the CVT transmission, but this car does drive smooth and has enough power to get out of its own way. It won't win a race, but will keep you up with traffic.

Conclusion

This is our 7th Nissan and out of all brands we've owned, the most reliable, hands down. For the price, the car offered more features and creature comforts as compared to the competitors. I'm tall and have long legs and this is the only car in the class I felt comfortable driving.
