3 out of 5: I average about 24 MPG in 50/50 mixed city/hwy. About 18 MPG in stricly city. About 28 MPG in strictly hwy. Have even seen 30-32 MPG if just cruising at hwy speeds of 65-75 MPH. see full Subaru WRX review

This is a 6,200 pound vehicle that I need for my work. I need to haul long items and occassionally tow heavy trailers for work. It is a diesel and for 136,000 miles I have averaged 17.8 mpg. If this were gasoline powered I would be 8-10 mpg, or less. see full Ford Excursion review
Ford Excursion Real Gas Mileage: Cons

2005 4dr SUV, ext. 310-horsepower 6.8L V10
4-speed automatic RWD
I know what it got. It is efficient for what it is. Compared to their smaller, less capable vehicles it gets "bad" mileage. However, for a 8K lbs truck with a non-aerodynamic design the average mileage of 13.5 (E10) is acceptable. see full Ford Excursion review
