Smooth flowing body lines. Big enough to not be a cute-ute but not too large for my wife to drive comforably.

Cargo capacity

Lots of interior room for infant and toddler accessories. Swing out rear door means easy loading of heavier items. Beneath floor storage good for items that are always in the vehicle.

Brand reputation & image

Toyota always near the top in reliability. Rav4 on its third generation and they look to have it just right.

Price or payments

Little more expensive than some competitors and no great financing rates either. I guess since the car is popular they know people will pay the extra.

Color choices

Some of the nicer pearls and metallics are only available on the limited model.
