| Year | Body/Powertrain | Comment |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 179-horsepower 2.5L I4 4-speed automatic AWD |
suburban 24 mpg, highway 28 mpg |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
For an AWD V6 SUV fuel economy is very good and only uses 1 mpg more than the 4cyl model, while providing considerably more power. |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
I think the published mileage is above average for the market space (small SUV with V6). |
| 2010 | 4dr SUV 179-horsepower 2.5L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Good for a vehicle its size. Similar to my 4cyl Acura in actual driving. |
| 2009 | 4dr SUV 179-horsepower 2.5L I4 4-speed automatic AWD |
Amazing for an SUV - First 2 weeks we had it, went on 2 trips over 200 miles each mostly highway. Got over 27 MPG. There are some 4 cyl CARS that do not get that, let alone an SUV. We are saving $50/month just on gas compared to the minivan we traded in |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
Best MPG for Horsepower, size. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
Even with 269 horsepower I still get 26-28 mpg highway and low 20s city. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
Very good fuel economy (22-24 city/suburban, 26-28 highway) along with outstanding power and towing capability. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
One of the best for a vehicle in this class with the V-6 engine. |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |

good for AWD |
| 2008 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
I am currently getting 27MPG when driving @ 65MPH on the highway, and am getting 22-24MPG in the city. |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Better than the previous Durango by far, not as heavy and smaller engine. |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic FWD |
I think the Rav 4s 6 cyl engine provides the best fuel economy in its class. |

better than average fuel economy |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic AWD |
23/27...spectacular for a AWD vehicle |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
Best in class, especially considering V-6 engine gets only 1 MPG less than the I-4. |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
Previously owned a 1997 6 cyl Toyota 4 Runner Limited. That was a vehicle which I was proud and happy to drive but because gas prices started to rise, I wanted something that gave more than 17 mpg. My 6 cyl RAV gives 22 mpg. |

Average combined mileage since purchase in '06 is 29 mpg. |
| 2001 | 4dr SUV 148-horsepower 2.0L I4 5-speed manual FWD |

| 2013 | 4dr SUV 176-horsepower 2.5L I4 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD |
I've only been driving in heavy traffic and urban cycle, but so far the computer calculates that the car is a complete pig - 16 MPG average with the auto temp on (so AC running). My FR-S easily handles the same in the mid-20s. Maybe less idling / crawling / jackrabbit starting and I'll get the average up.

After 3 days and more "normal" driving (some highway in there), I hit low 20s (if the calculator was right - it could be 2 MPG optimistic like the one in my FR-S). |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 269-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed automatic AWD |
There are times when I think I should have a bought a Prius. |
| 2007 | 4dr SUV 166-horsepower 2.4L I4 4-speed automatic AWD |
Gives less mileage than CR-V. |
