driven toyotas all over the world since early 70s, but body integrity has completely fallen down in u.s. and cdn built models. as for specs, even corollas overseas have 7sp auto trans. toyota has lost it.

Why Not the 2010 Toyota RAV4?
awful rattles and creaks when turning from drivers side, major reason to sell it after only 3 months, 8000 miles
drivers side window controls intrude into leg space, exceedingly uncomfortable
tire pressure sensor always on despite correct inflation
no lumbar support
way too loud at highway speeds, whiny engine due to antiquated 4sp auto trans, 2500 rpm at 65mph
Conclusion
no body integrity, outdated auto trans, careless dealer attention: mine was certified used but with lots of rattles/creaks, faulty sensors that dealer had no idea about.
