Air suspension module "got freaked out" (quoting mechanic) and needed to be re-flashed. Vehicle would not lift or lower. Jeep's back end was at off-road height and front end was at park height. Re-flash seems to have fixed it for now.
13700 mi
Air suspension experienced same issue (nose in park height and rear up in air). Reflash of module did not fix issue and case opened with manufacturer. Bad fuse replaced. Air suspension now working properly.
32240 mi
Noise/slight vibration from front end,I suspected cv joint as front wheels were tight in jacked up trial, but turned out to be drivers side wheel bearing. Had been making noise for at least 10K km, slowly getting worse, had checked for hot hubs after highway driving but always seemed cool so surprised it was bearing.
86800 mi
C $5
Jeep has Air suspension which had collapsed in very (-30C temperatures) cold weather when the Jeep was not used for a week or so. Fuse for air suspension compressor had burnt out. Replaced fuse after also disconnecting battery for a few minutes to reset system. At first it didn't seem to respond to "lift suspension" button, but after driving around town for 15 minutes I noticed the suspension 2nd lift height light was on and the suspension is now at driving height.
9200 mi
The right and left rear shocks were leaking oil. They were replaced under warranty.
290-horsepower 3.6L V6 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
7000 mi
Slight power steering consumption, had inspected and topped off at dealership.
29339 mi
US $255
Not sure if this belongs in suspension, but an alignment and wheel balancing was performed due to noticeable steering wheel shaking at highway speeds. The problem persists (albeit to a lesser degree) after repair, so it's likely due to the cheap off-brand tires the previous owner put on it.
26000 mi
excessive power steering noise, parts replaced
46000 mi
US $900
Steering rack leaking. The whole unit was replaced
82000 mi
US $200
Out of alignment; cupping of tires
Car pulled hard to right and steering wheel was off center. There is a TSB out to repair this. It was applied and realigned. So far so good.
1300 mi
Rear shock leaking. Problem is part on back order with no ETA and 106 orders ahead of me! Shock is marked KYB. Surprising considering I have had both car and bikes with KYB suspension that worked very well.
12000 mi
Rack and pinion seal leak. Rack and onion assembly replaced.
24300 mi
US $20
Michelin Latitude tires already showing choppy wear on outer edges despite rotation every 6k miles, and conservative driving style. I asked dealer to check 4 wheel alignment and they said all was in spec.
35800 mi
Steering rack had to be replaced due to large fluid leak.
807 mi
¤225
Vehicle pulling to Left. Steering wheel not "centrally aligned" but rotated clockwise by around 3 degrees.
6200 mi
Slight pulling to right side.
26000 mi
Rear struts leaking. Replaced struts. Damage done probably due to severe off-road use.
Replaced Driver's front strut mount.
23000 mi
US $100
pump for the air ride system failed and was replaced under warranty
