Aug 2007 - Jun 2014
Feb 2008 US $366 One of the engine's eight ignition coils had an intermittent short causing a misfire at times CEL came on. Faulty ignition coil (number eight cylinder) and spark plug were replced by dealer. I paid for repair in whole as the truck is out of warranty.
Sep 2008   Coil replaced on cylinder 1 to fix miss and check engine light. Coil replaced, problem persists, will be replacing fuel injector soon myself in attempt to repair.
Apr 2009   Replaced stock brake rotors because of warping. Probably due to 100,000 miles more than anything. Consider this normal and routine with this kind of part life.

Jun 2009 US $300 Alternator went bad. Truck was stopped, new battery placed in truck, this managed to get us home as we were only 19 miles from our house.
Aug 2009   too much fuel was getting in to the engine and causing it to smoke through the exhaust. So, when this happens, it is likely that the extra gas gets into the oil and that had to be changed. We did not have to replace the catalitic converter. Runs Great!
