DEF INDICATOR STUCK AT NEARLY FULL FOR MOST OF JAN AND FEB WAS TOLD NOTHING COULD BE DONE AS DEF WAS LIKELY FROZEN. IN MID MARCH DEF WARNING ( 650 KM UNTIL ENGINE SHUT DOWN ) CAME ON, DEALER ADDED DEF AND REFLASHED SYSTEM. SYSTEM WAS FLASHED ON FRIDAY AND WARNING REOCCURRED ON MONDAY. AS A NEW FIX WAS RELEASED ON SATURDAY SYSTEM WAS REFLASHED WITH NEWEST FIX AND TO DATE SEEMS TO BE WORKING
DEF system messed again, service engine indicator came on, dealer replaced a hose in def system, everything ok now
code P20EE, SCR CATALYST EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD. cat replaced, some sensors on cat replaced because could not remove from old cat.
DEF sysyem error due to failed DEF injector. Vehicle unable to restart after 250 miles.
Check engine light for P20EE Code definition is "SCR NOx Catalyst Efficiency below Threshold Bank 1". There was a TSB issued. The dealer reflashed the PCM to turn out the light.
MIL light came back on a week after previous repair. Same code P20EE. Dealer said the head gasket is leaking. Ordered part. Gasket came in but dealer broke catalytic converter while replacing gasket. Converter on back order. MIL returned with the same code. Took vehicle to a different Jeep dealer. Code P20EE indicated to replace SCR. New SCR installed. Vehicle finally fixed.
DEF system failure. Replaced DEF line + Injector.

Converter faulty. Sensor defective.def nozzle replaced. All were upgraded. Was covered under extended warranty with 100 dollar deductible.
Otherwise would of been 5400 dollars.

Removed nox sensor rear. Had to clean it and apply anti seize to the thread.

Check engine light came on P20EE error. NOx out of range. Software updated. Emissions system cleaned. Light reset. It came back on in a couple of days. Needs new catalytic converter. This is a known problem. TSB has been issued.

Smart module was installed with a pinched wire and finally gave out so the vehicle was running poorly.
The part that was replaced has failed again. A replacement part has been ordered. It is related to the fuel system and causes the engine light to come on and reduce gas mileage.
Wouldn't pass inspection due to computer faults within catalytic system. Put on new part and had to "break it in" and drive it several hundred miles before it would register on inspection system. Chrysler sent wrong part twice.
Diesel air mixture device. Still on warranty.
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) came on. Took vehicle in for repair. Parts are on order (for over a month) have been driving with the light on for 1000+ miles. Dealer says that no damage will occur, Remote Start will not work now either
Exhaust filter plugged and made car undriveable.
Warning message on dash read: "Exhaust filter 100 percent full. See dealer." Engine would not go into upper gears after message came on, with maximum RPM limited to 2,850 (limp home mode). Dealer fixed problem under warranty.
"Check Engine" light came on while vehicle being driven by my stepson. (He is very hard on cars. I was not in the vehicle with him.) I am taking the Grand Cherokee to the dealer today to have this problem checked out. Update: probably only reset light.

Plastic elbow joint in coolant line had a crack and allowed coolant to leak out of engine under pressure. Engine overheat light lead to tow. Repaired under warranty, waited 2 days for part.
Threw a CEL. Vehicle was driving and acting normally. Code dealt with the DEF system, dealer replaced the SCR cat converter under warranty. SA noted that Jeep introduced a new cat converter part number to deal with high failure rate.
Air intake hose to turbo came off - not properly connected at factory. Hose has built in fastener needs to be lined up perfectly to fit and connect properly. Check engine light indicated problem with exhaust system. Dealer unable to determine what part, if any was defective. As a result, repair was not successful.

Check engine light came on with P0171 and P0174: lean fuel from 2 sensors. Everything checked out fine at delear and the indicator had to be reset. Computer thinks it was triggered because of hard braking while engine was still cold.
Continued P0171 and P0174 lean fuel codes. STAR system says 'improper auto-stick operation when engine cold'. But, I'm always breaking when cold, as I live on a hill. Dealer replaced MAP sensor. Problem not reproduced since then.

Burning oil. Blue smoke from exhaust, and low oil levels between oil changes. Shop suspects that a software issue caused higher-than-necessary vacuum pressure and issue would be fixed with SW update. Have not noticed symptoms since.
From the first week I owned the Car it smokes oil smoke upon startup. Dealer as completed an oil consumption test. Dealer has opened a STAR request to Chrysler direct for solutions. No reply yet.
Smokes when start up in my incline driveway. Dealer determined the oil pan needed replaced, then kept it for oil consumption test. All seemed OK....two weeks later more smoke. Dealer pulled head off engine and found crack in head gasket. Engine continued to emit smoke at start when Jeep parked in my driveway...slight incline. Took four times to the dealer and Chrysler Mechanic to find problem with oil leaking into manifold.

Fault code indicating fuel pressure sensor out of range. Dealer replaced fuel pressure sensor. Unknown if this resolved the issue because of other issue with ABS and traction control.
Notified Chrysler Customer Service of unresolved issues. They finally got technical expert in contact with technician at dealership. After two days of troubleshooting, identified improper wiring connection in engine compartment. Resolved.

Loud noise heard during cold start-up. Delete replaced water pump but that was not the problem. Return trip for radios flush because dealer topped off with wrong coolant. Problem ended up being the belt tensioner

Smelled radiator coolant. Dealer did test and found leak. Replaced radiator core.
Noticed a small oil leak, drove to dealer. Dealer found a leaking oil cooler housing and oil filter housing leaking. Replaced housings, as well as upper and lower intake gaskets.
I noticed a "ticking" sound coming from engine after returning from a trip. Took to dealership and found out the passenger cylinder head needs replaced! Covered under powertrain warranty & jeep extends to 150 or 10 yrs for these 3.6L heads.
Emits blue smoke from exhaust on start up. Chrysler advised replacing PCV valve. Has reduced but not cured the problem.
Dealer diagnosed exhaust smoke as caused by leak of coolant into cylinders. Replaced both cylinder heads.
