Overall good driving choice.
Overall good driving choice.
The 4 cyl is adequate for the mountains. I can keep it under 3000 rpm and climb anything at highway speeds of 65 or 70 mph. I don't trust it for quick passing though.
I consistently get 29 to 30 mpg.
Due to it's high clearance, it doesn't hug the road in sharp turns but I adapt my driving and it's not a problem.
I love having all the airbags and traction control.
One complaint is the hard, short driver's seat. I use a gel cushion. I had after market leather installed.
Excelled in having a quiet ride for the first 78,000 miles and first set of tires. I am starting to hear more engine noise now though.
Visibility behind me is good when the back seats are down and the head rests are out of the way. Not so good when the seats are up.
No repairs needed except for headlamp bulbs and my brakes are still almost new after 78,000 miles.
