50220 mi | The clutch assembly needed replacement with only 80,000 Kilometers (50,000 miles). Hyundai refused to cover this even though there was evidence of uneven wear on the pressure plate. Driven MT cars for almost 50 years and never had a problem. Although the clutch replacement in the previous trip fixed the clutch engagement, the car still would not reliably shift into 1st.
