24000 mi Noise on cold start. They replaced VTC actuator under Certified Warranty
75000 mi Occasional grind / rattle at startup, more often when cold. TSB 16-012. Dealer was unable to fix. Car still starts okay, so we're living with it.
55000 mi

US $140
Second time at the dealer for VTC actuator rattle during start up. VTC actuator parts replaced at no cost to me. VTC actuator continues to make rattling sound intermittently during cold outside temperature starts. Honda customer service is useless in trying to resolve this documented issue. During this repair visit it was determined that the drive belt needed to be replaced for $140 parts and labor.

3000 mi Lower hose was leaking antifreeze. Repaired and replaced
37600 mi when you cranked the car in cold weather it had a grinding noise...dealership repaired with no cost. They replaced timing actuator gear....new one has larger oil port which lubricates better when oil is thick in cold weather. TSB.
49000 mi Grinding noise in the morning at start up Replaced vtech actuator Did not fix problem Under 60000 warranty No charge
63000 mi

US $138
had miss, changed plugs
32000 mi At last oil change, an oil leak was noticed to be starting up front. Leak was declared fixed by dealer.
47120 mi I told the dealership that a bearing was going in one of the pullleys, tensioner etc. It also made a brief noise on cold starts. They replaced the VTC module and the timing chain had apparently stretched, all done under warranty. On Christmas Day (3 days later) the same noise returned and the water pump pulley went. We were stranded on the side of the highway in a major snowstorm. Really not impressed, how do you miss this when you are replacing the chain??
