5-speed automatic 4WD w/low range		 Terrible. I've owned fullsize pickups and SUV so I know what to expect. I've never seen the average mpg display read over 15mpg for the six months I've owned it. The main reason I bought this was the combination AWD and 4WD transfer case, but it doesn't have a 2 wheel drive position like my Sierra did. 4-speed automatic AWD		 Overall 14.2 MPG. In town 14 MPG, on the interstate 18 MPG @ 65 mph, 16 MPG @ 75-80 mph. Would probably have better mileage with more gears than the 4 speed auto but overall a pretty efficient powertrain considering power and weight. see full GMC Yukon review
