05/15/08	2008 Ford Focus Pros and Cons Member1800 Great MPG. Window sticker said 24-35, I average way better. My normal driving is 75/25 city/hwy and I get about 30-32mpg - hwy/interstate only, I can push over 37mpg running at 70-71mph! Best tank so far was 42.2 miles per gallon!!

It is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission and was the sport version of the Focus in 2005. The 2.3 provides responsive, excellent low and mid-end torque and great fuel economy.
