While driving, brake pedal went down to the floor after being stuck in a drive-thru. Dealer replaced master cylinder, brake booster, and Antilock brake module. It took many days to diagnose since the issue was intermittent and it took many days for parts delivery. Repair was under warranty | ||

If car was not driven for a few days, the brake pedal would be hard to press and if pressing on the start button, the engine would not start. Aslo, the green check light on the start button did not appear. It was found the hard brake pedal is normal, but an updated shifter assembly was installed which corrected the green light and the engine starting. | ||

Found engine was losing power and gas mileage was dropping. I found the PCV valve was dirty and full of carbon. I purchased a new one and replaced the PCV hose as well. Since the repair, the engine has more pep and gas mileage has increased. Subaru also sells a maintenance kit which includes Fuel Cleaner, Throttle Body Cleaner, and Top Internal Engine Cleaner. There is a separate tool that needs to be purchased separately which feeds the Top Internal Engine Cleaner into the engine. There is a Youtube Video from MrSubaru1387 which demonstrates how to use the maintenance kit. I will be performing this maintenance over the weekend. | ||
