A Comfortable Family Sedan 2008 Hyundai Sonata Love Letter nasowas I find the Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4L to be an excellent choice for a comfortable and safe ride. The 4 cylinder engine runs very smooth, has enough pep to keep up in traffic and the whole car is quiet enough to allow for conversations at highway speeds. |

2013 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons queenofblades While this car hasn't been completely terrible, overall I have been disappointed with it. I owned a 2001 Honda Accord before this vehicle. Outside of maintenance and a couple of suspension repairs, I had no issues before the 150,000 mark. My Sonata is not aging well and I don't have... |

Great mid-size hybrid car! 2016 Hyundai Sonata Love Letter A member in South Carolina, United States I have the Sonata Hybrid Limited with Advanced Package. I love this hybrid system over the Toyota systems because of the 6-sp auto vs CVT. The engine never whines when I need more power, and it seems programed to drive in Electric mode more often. I also get better mileage... |

2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh No car company learns faster than Hyundai (with the possible exception of its ward, Kia). While some competitors can let engineering flaws drag on for years, any glitches with a new Hyundai tend to be gone well before the second model year begins. Similarly, common criticisms in reviews are often... Comparison vehicle: 2015 Toyota Camry |

Projector Headlight Design presents major safety concerns 2015 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member6641 The design of the projector head lights on this car do not provide sufficient visibility when making 90 degree or greater turns. Another major issue is the very limited visibility forward on undulating roads when on low beam. The forward visibilty is severly limited and the field of view is... |

2015 Hyundai Sonata - As Good As An Azera? 2015 Hyundai Sonata Love Letter thosgbell My wife and I had been driving a 2008 Hyundai Azera for six years, and it was time to replace it. So we started looking for something in the same general class. Hyundai has continued the Azera for 2015, so we put it on the list, along with Lexus, Audi,... |

2015 Hyundai Sonata Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Though barely on anyone's radar 15 years ago, Hyundai has tripled its U.S. sales in the years since and aims to become one of the world's largest auto makers. Critical to achieving this goal: a top-selling midsize sedan. While Hyundai has been running its state-of-the-art Montgomery, Alabama, plant around the... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Ford Fusion |
Very poor investment. Had expected much more for a car that was initially high quality 2004 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons A member in Pennsylvania, United States When I first bought this car I loved it. Now 3 years later it is dissolving into a rusty, unreliable, noisy mess. I've had the usual wear-and-tear maintenance done to it, but it also has had more than the usual repairs needed for things like the exhaust breaks, engine... |

2012 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member5269 Great commuter car to put lots of mileage on. If you are looking for a "Drivers car" this is probably not it. |

2013 Sonata is a real winner 2013 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Paul in NH I really do love the Sonata - I love the Sonata 1 year later as much as when I first purchased it. |

2013 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member5949 The fuel economy is pretty good for a car of this size. I have averaged 36.5mpg (imperial gallon) over the last 37000km. 85% highway, 110km/h and little sitting in traffic. It gets very cold here sometimes so the mileage suffers. In Dec/Jan when it reaches -30 C (or colder), I... |

Terrific value, not the Hyundai of the past. 2011 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3235 While looks are always subjective, there is none better in this regard for the price. When ithe Sonata was still relatively unknown vehicle, people would think it was a Lexus or a Mercedes. Paint finish and build quality is superb. Has to have the 18" wheels to look its best... |
2009 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3494 Have owned Sonata with I4 engine since 7/2009. Reason for buying was biggest bang for the buck at the time of purchase and past experiance with Sonata rental cars. Very happy with engine/auto transmission, the V6 would be a waste. Excellent fuel mileage, have been keeping accurate records,... |

2013 Hyundai Sonata SE Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Hyundai Sonatas had always been pleasantly styled cars. They just weren't in any way memorable. Then the redesigned 2011 arrived, and grabbed the attention of even people who rarely notice cars. Segment-leading fuel economy and base-engine horsepower didn't hurt, either. Hyundai followed up with similar redesigns for its other cars,... Comparison vehicle: 2014 Mazda Mazda6 |

Little Things Mean a Lot One Year In 2011 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons mertensr Acceleration is best in class for non-turbo, 4-cylinder engine. I appreciate car's ability to quickly pass on two lane roads. Transmission is among best I have experienced. People who drive my car swear it has a 6-cylinder engine. |

Great, but skip the turbo if you drive in the city 2012 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member5294 Performance and handling are excellent, interior is comfy and well designed. Awful city fuel economy is the only real issue. EPA estimate seems to be about 40% too optimistic! Highway driving mileage is fine though. |
2013 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3077 With just over 1400 miles so far, it is averaging 28.3mpg combined with the eco option turned off. It has the eco drive option which works well in sustained at speed driving but lags in demanding driving situations. |

2011 Hyundai Sonata Pros and Cons Member3900 The SE Turbo Sonata out handles and powers most cars and all in it's class. It has a sport-tuned suspension and steering system ONLY on the SE's and deleted on Limiteds. I also drive a 370Z Nissan and it handles much like it, honestly. 30mpg avg. |
