Wind noise as many experience in 2015 and now 2016 models. Also cold drafts and breezes in driver side compartment. Dealer loath to recognize this over 2 months in winter.
Wind noise at highway speed. Breezes in driver's compartment. Dealer applied the wind noise kit to both front doors. Breezes all but disappeared and car stays warm and comfortable for driver. Wind noise worse, but road noise reduced.
Wind noise on passenger door was fixed per Tech Service Bulletin in spring. Noise returned worse than before. Run channel replaced. Noise reduced a great deal. Starting to increase again. Wind noise on driver door has increased since repair in spring according to Tech Service Bulletin. Noise when driver window is initially lowered that started with this wind noise fix was found not to be "abnormal."
Wind noise TSBs applied to both front doors. 61099AL01B for the second time to driver side. 61099AL00B for third time to passenger side. I had written a letter to the president of Subaru of America telling him how miserable driving the car on the highway was. I was contacted by a "Team Leader Customer Retailer Services." A Field Service Engineer drove my car and with some instrumentation determined that the noise level was only 2 decibels higher than a 2015 model. That was basically an admission that there is wind noise and SOA has some notion of what is "normal." And ridiculous! The application of the TSBs was the decision of the the dealer Customer Service Manager. I have nothing bad to say about the car, but the wind noise.

Rattle coming from front of car at speeds under 45 MPH. Dealer found something loose in the hood latch mechanism that was causing rattle.

Sunroof leaked really bad down on my wife and I when we went into the car wash. After taking it to the dealer they said that "it's in the Manual" that you can't take the car into a high pressure wash, so good luck washing your new Legacy.
Chrome door trim on drivers door was replaced. Plastic end cap on top corner came off and was sharp. Replaced the whole trim piece as its one unit.
Underbody panel below engine started to sag. It got caught on some and ice and ripped. Replaced it with a new aftermarket piece. Very easy to do.

Dust sheild hitting brake rotor over certain bumps. Noticed when I first received car but couldn't get to dealer right away. Fixed for free in minutes
Rattle coming from Glovebox. 2 screws were loose. They were tightened. The right rear original equipment mug flap came loose and eventually fell off. The dealer first refused to replace unless I paid for part.(approx $70)I eventually convinced dealer part falling off not my fault..should be covered by warranty Replaced right rear mud flap and 2 mounting clips which had fallen off the car. They were ordered on the last visit.
Rattle in glovebox remains, especially when weather is cool. Also asked dealer to check buzzing in passenger door caused by speaker. Dealer says glovebox and passenger door interior panel were disassembled and insulation/padding applied.

During collision repair, I had rust spots on the roof also repaired. The original paint was failing in spots on the roof and showed signs of more failures, beginnings of future rusting.
Exterior trim moulding out of place/loose. Sent to a glass shop where the moulding was glued to the body.
Trim panels on the fuel and trunk release come loose each time one of the knobs are pulled causing the knobs to stay up until pushed back down. New knobs and trim panels are on order. Rattle at base of A-pillar...the corner where dash meets windshield on drivers side. Dealer could not duplicate the problem because it mostly occurs when the outside temperature is cool or in the morning.
Fuel and trunk release knobs replaced. Trim panel under knobs replaced. Note: Knobs no longer stick when pulled; but trim panel still does not stay snapped in place due to carpet being too tight in this area.

Dashboard rattle near driver's side A pillar
I stuck some foam weatherstripping in the dashboard/A-pillar joint to muffle the rattle. Consensus among owners at legacygt.com is that anyone who makes the dealer remove the dashboard ends up with more rattles than the original. I don't consider it fixed
Paint is cracking. Car has never been in an accident. Went to the dealer to complain, was told that "this is a common issue on 2005-2008 subarus. Was told that nothing can be done, except paint the car, which I would have to pay 5k for!
Sunroof and power lock system died. Subaru at first did not want to pay for the repairs. After I threatened a law suit, the dealership put in a new sunroof motor and seals along with replacing the power door modulator. Their cost >$3400.
Had to replace the housing of the front lights - technical control in Belgium (yearly event) refused them. Had become a little dirty inside (and lens had tiny scars), which lead to light which was too diffuse (cannot be opened, had to be replaced).
