Toyota Corolla Reliability And Durability: Pros | |
Year | Comment |
2014 | Even though the Corolla is a new design in its first year, among current compact sedan it will likely last the longest while requiring the fewest repairs. Few other models in TrueDelta's car reliability survey have been as consistently reliable.

2010 | 4dr Sedan 132-horsepower 1.8L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
I have given it a thrashing and nothing has broken. It is a Toyota so it probably wont be breaking any time soon. Interior components arent top of the line, but they are tough. Seat is firm and will likely last a good while. full 2010 Toyota Corolla review |

This will be the 5TH Toyota that I have owned and all of them have given great service & reliability full 2009 Toyota Corolla review |

2007 | 4dr Sedan 126-horsepower 1.8L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Corolla has proven to be the most reliable car in Canada for many years. I owned other Toyotas before and was exteremly happy with the cost of ownership over a long period of time. full 2007 Toyota Corolla review |
2007 | 4dr Sedan 126-horsepower 1.8L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |

2007 | 4dr Sedan 126-horsepower 1.8L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
The Gen 9 Corolla's birthplace and sudden lineup change doesn't detract from the car's longstanding reputation for reliability. If you maintain it, it will last a long, long time with no serious trouble. Having seriously used one of these, I found that as long as it is maintained and somewhat cared for, it will always take care of you. I also know that it is an okay car for heavy use, but that's not really the car's role. It will hold up to a surprising amount of abuse over its lifetime without falling apart. If you have to do heavy residential driving or accelerate to high speeds daily, you may find yourself wearing out brakes and transmission clutchpacks at an alarming rate. full 2007 Toyota Corolla review |

2010 | 4dr Sedan 132-horsepower 1.8L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
Had lots of wear on car and recent Toyota reliability reports made it risky to buy a Toyota even though I had reliable Toyota for years. Might buy one again when their are stable reliablity trend. full 2010 Toyota Corolla review |
2009 | 4dr Sedan 132-horsepower 1.8L I4 4-speed automatic FWD |
I am concerned about the EPS and the new engine design. Although some have disliked the EPS, the jury is still out for me. Plus, will it be reliable long-term? Also, I have read about some oil consumption problems. Hmm ... full 2009 Toyota Corolla review |
