Surprisingly good and underconsidered. Giving regular and premium brands a run for their money. 2021 Subaru Legacy Pros and Cons michaelz08 This pertains to the turbocharged 2.4L engine: If you like to floor it, you'll be disappointed in the powertrain. There's ample power, but the CVT does not deliver linear poerformance. As mentioned, the car has a smooth and compliant ride that shows it is not meant for track... 2018 Mazda6 Signature Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh From 2014 through 2017, the Mazda6 got by with an unboosted 184-horsepower, 185 pound-feet-of-torque 2.5-liter four-cylinder. The car was reasonably quick with this engine, as long as you didn't mind revving it. Mazda's responsive six-speed automatic helped. For 2018 that engine continues in the first two trim levels, with cylinder... Comparison vehicle: 2019 Honda Accord |

2009 Honda Accord Pros and Cons ticlin my 2.4 engine (70000 miles) consumes very little oil (half pint for 12000 km) this engine and known for consuming the oil but the problem is not the engine but the engine oil and gas used it takes always used top products (I use Mobil 1 synt 5w30 oil and... |

2018 Honda Accord Sport Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Will you want the new Accord with the 192-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter engine or with the 252-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter engine? The tested car, with the 1.5-liter, was plenty quick for all practical purposes. Boost lag was nearly undetectable. But if you want thrilling acceleration, you'll want the 2.0T. The manual... 2016 Honda Accord Pros and Cons FreddyB I Know What I Like Very powerful. Can not complain. What I don't like is no manual control over the transmission. Sport mode is pretty good, but it will downshift on you sometimes when it shouldn't/you don't want it to. But, not being a sports car and front wheel drive, its acceptable. |

Reliable car - if y ou can put up with the sound system and seats 2014 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member5919 The engine willingly revs over 3000RPM. The 6 speed manual is excellent, shifts are easy and precise. Acceleration is good for a largish sedan |
Not a car for a shorter drivers 2013 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Henry2024 The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) performs mediocre at best, and when started cold, the car jerks and judders when accelerating and stopping. There is a Technical Service Bulletin fix, which will require four hours at a dealership, needing a part and a software upgrade to the computer. This supposedly will... |

A great car - with reservations 2007 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Willow999 The clutch creaks in warmer weather. It's annoying and sounds like an old bed or rocking chair. This is a known complaint in the manual transmissions of this generation car, (2003-2007). It's not a safety issue though. |

2013 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member1458 I cannot stand the VCM cylinder deactivation system that shuts down half the engine when it doesn't need it. It is much less noticeable in this car than the 2010 Accord I had before, but I feel like they can do away with it or I wish there was a... |

2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh Once upon a time, an efficient car was also a slow car. Though a number of fairly quick hybrids and the ultra-quick Tesla Model S should have put this perception to bed by now, it's not quite dead yet. The Honda Accord Hybrid should help. Despite the loss of... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Ford Fusion |
A Very Nice Car. Glad it's My Wife's... 2013 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member5558 This is our second Honda Accord V6. It is a smooth driving car with good handling characteristics. It has an excellent driving position and good rear and side visibility enhanced by the side-view (and rear, when necessary) cameras. The V6 provides excellent acceleration and surprisingly good economy on the highway,... |

2008 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member3877 As another reviewer said, the 4 Cyl. mated to a 5 Speed Manual Tranny is a match made in heaven. Test drove an auto and was very disappointed. The 4 NEEDS the 5MT! |

Best Accord I have ever owned 2013 Honda Accord Pros and Cons clay The 4 cylinder I chose has plenty of power but is buzzy at full acceleration. The fact that it has a cam chain instead of a belt is a big plus as it normally never needs replacment and will save you around $900 later on. The CVT transmission is different... |

2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh On paper, the Honda Accord Coupe's DOHC 3.5-liter V6 engine is down a sizable 70 horsepower, 278 vs. 348, compared to the Genesis Coupe's 3.8. Midrange power doesn't differ as much (peak torque ratings of 252 vs. 295 pound-feet), but the Hyundai's larger, direct-injected engine is clearly stronger. Both cars... 2013 Accord major improvement over previous Accord 2013 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member4120 Performance and Handling of the 2013 Accord Sport (6-speed manual) has been excellent. I was pleasantly surprised when test driving a 2013 Accord Sport, that I decided to purchase one. Driving, handling, and the features were very nice. It's not perfect 2003 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member5625 It works fine. The 4 cyl is enough power, I fear the transmission has ruined me for other cars. It's a great shifting gearbox. I don't care for front wheel drive, but in my price range and wanting reliability this was it. |

2013 Honda Accord EX-L Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh You can opt for a 278-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. But the new 185-horsepower "Earth Dreams" 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, Honda's first with direct injection, performs so well that few people will feel the need. The transmission deserves much of the credit. It's a CVT (continuously variable transmission), but avoids the odd "rubber... Comparison vehicle: 2013 Ford Fusion |
Not a bad family sedan. 2011 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member297 The 4 cylinder and 5 speed manual are a match made in heaven. Plenty of power and excellent fuel economy. 2012 Honda Accord Pros and Cons Member3466 The Honda V6 is a delightful engine, lots of power, smooth torque delivery and a truly wonderful 6-speed gearshift (manual). By contrast, the Golf had longer throws and a less-intuitive clutch pickup. And a LOT less power. |
