Noticed floor was wet. Took it to the dealer found out there was a recall for the water leak on left front pillar. There was electrical damage also. Dealer traded me out of this damaged Edge and into another 2015 Edge exactly like the first
Rubber seal around R/R door continually came loose with normal door operation. Dealer has repaired/reseated and it has not come loose so far - but will watch for future occurrences. Plastic anchor (top left) for mounting rear license plate was stripped out. Dealer did not have part so moved lower left anchor to top left. Now bottom left is defective.
Passengers rear door cable replaced, did not get rid of noise.
Noise coming from passangers seat back related to internal hardware in seat rest dvd, which was improperly installed at factory. Service tech took apart hardware and reinstalled correctly.
Motor for the sunroof. Luckily I found a small but very busy, honest, smart, hard-working, independent, local shop owner. Dealers range was 2500 to ???. They professed to not know what was wrong or how to fix it. Really ? Jackwagons !
Ringing sound in wheel well, was told its an exhaust problem that I don't agree with, waiting month for a part. Drivers seat creaks and squeaks too.
After more than a month they finally received the new exhaust system. Apparently its a stock issue as the dual exhaust pipes are too close together and they ring. It is a problem I was told has happened to more than just myself. Body kit on right side had a clip come loose and consequently the corner of the kit was sticking off the car at least half an inch. Was fixed in one session.
Driver seat creak resurfaced within two days of them "repairing" it by simply doing some seat adjustments. It still makes a clicking/creaking sound when driving. It only effects the drivers seat.
Two small paint blemishes on the passenger front fender at time of purchase.
The computer that controls the Vista Roof glitched; the roof would not retract into the open position. The relevant program had to be reloaded, but since it was deemed not to be a computer failure, it was not covered by extended warranty.
Moonroof wouldn't close properly.
IP console cover damaged during previous body repair (June). Part ordered by dealer.
Seat belt rattle, eliminated,
Driver side seat belt rattle, replaced receiving latch where the belt clicks into.
Adhesive, used to attach the (headliner) Velcro fastener to the roof did not stick, causing the the headliner to droop down about 1 1/2 inches in the area of the rear interior light assembly.
Fix was to use an upgraded adhesive on the Velcro fastener.
Headliner repair failed. This time Ford replaced the entire headliner.
Front powered shade that covers panorama roof would sag down in to cabin when retracted, instead of the material being pulled back inside the roof lining.
Right rear door rattled when closing. Dealer found seat belt housing bolt loose. Reinstalled bolt, no rattle since repair.
driver's seat would squeak when going over bumps.dealer tech readjusted seat and lubed seat track.problem resolved.
Upon receiving car keys, found moon roof canvas loose and upon trying to open, it would not roll-in and fell down, unable to open moon roof. Car was taken to workshop 3 days later. Free of charge but no compensation for the inconvenience.
For the second time the moon roof problem repeats. Awaiting the 5000km service to get it repaired. Too much inconvenience taking the car in for 2 days (or more) just for the repair.
Had an accident, 'bumped' from behind. My car only suffer minor damage on the lower bumper (came out in the middle area).

The rear back window seals on the passenger door windows are melting and detaching from the glass.
Because my 25000km inspection was done at my home, this claim can only be done in the shop in time.
Since day 1, Sunroof curtain does not retract on command. Motor can be heard, but no roll. On second year and attempt to repair was done, worked for 6 months. Due to warranty expired (despite promise to repair for free), too expensive.

Door Keypad had plastic tab break off and would not stay mounted on door. Keypad replaced after Ford ok'ed repair

All four rims were corroding under chrome cladding on each wheel.

The chrome is peeling on the front fight wheel. These are 20" chrome clad wheels. The dealer has ordered a replacement wheel under warranty.
License plate only has two bolts on it. It rattles like crazy, Dealer unable to fix it. Said they would have to drill more holes in car to secure plate. You would think car would have proper holes to secure plate properly. NOT FIXED!
Wheels are corroding to the point of breakthrough in the hub area. We were told it was environmentally caused (road salt) so it was only covered for 12000 miles and we were out of luck. The dealer would not even let us talk to Ford rep.
On the edge of the drivers door about mid way down, there was a noticeable burr in the metal that was painted over. Appeared to be a quality control issue resulting from improper sanding and priming of metal. Body shop did great job but 3 days and car ren

From April 2007 front-end clunks both sides. Original and second dealer replaced struts, links, mounts, bushings, steering rack. Left now OK. Right still clunks. Ford CS says "normal". "Normal" means "median". Doesn't show up CU, JD Power, etc.

ABOUT 90% EFFECTIVE. STILL EXPERIENCING RIGHT-SIDE RATTLES ON BROKEN PAVEMENT.
THIRD BRAKE LIGHT SEAL FAILED. FOUND MOISTURE INSIDE COVER. DEALER REPLACED LIGHT COVER. WARRANTY REPAIR

Rattle in Vista roof. There was a loose piece between the tow pieces of glass. The problem was found and repaired in the same trip to the shop.

Seal broken between the windshield and dashboard so all the trim was pushing out and had a moldy smell. The trim in the back window was also bulging out between the window and the car and dangling from the window.

Rear sun-roof interior trim loose. Glue from the velcro was not sticking to the trim piece and would rattle when driving. Tech tried to fix but in the hot sun it would continue to come loose. Never was able to get it fixed right.

The headliner was loose over the driver-side rear door. The dealer confirmed the issue and ordered a new headliner under warranty during this visit.

Paint was missing all around the inside of the rear lift gate. On both the lift gate and the body where the lift gate closes. The rear lift gate had to be removed and repainted on the inside facing part and the body painted around the lift gate opening.
Center console came apart - the decorative trim popped out. The plastic trim around the rear window on the inside fell off - Dealer traced to bad part - replaced trim

The trim on the rear lift gate was not manufactured correctly – there are two pieces, where they join the trim was missing the slots to join the two pieces – it's part of the trim, so upper and lower had to be replaced.
