Tesla Reliability

You won't find Tesla reliability information like this anywhere else. Actual repair frequencies, not just vague dots. So you can tell how much the Tesla truly differs from competing car models in reliability.

These stats are promptly updated four times a year, to much more closely track Tesla reliability as the cars age. Others tell you how reliable the Tesla was a year ago, when the cars were a year younger and had 12,000 fewer miles on them. Only TrueDelta tells you how reliable the Tesla has been recently.

Tesla Reliability and Durability: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2018 4dr Sedan 283-horsepower Electric

The worst new-car experience I've ever had, without a doubt. The car spent three of the first four months of ownership sitting at a service center. The car was delivered with obvious defects (and I do mean "delivered," not only did the car leave the factory with defects but someone drove it on the highway to my house that way). Tesla has failed at every turn to fix the problems or make me a happy customer. They are completely unprepared to service and support the number of cars they're selling. see full Tesla review
