And give her love, lots of Love ... and she just won't love you back. Two complete engine failures due to rings. And this car was maintained meticulously with 5w-30w Synthetic Oil . Complete engine Replacement at 89,000 miles due to piston ring failure in Cyl. #4. $9,000 Complete engine Replacement AGAIN at 116,000 due to Piston Ring Failure in Cyl. #2. This is a 2013 car. 3 years old. 2.0 Turbo Engine A new Audi crate engine is about $7,200 just for the engine. Then of course there is dealer labor and add ons. Just now quoted at $3,700 labor. You do the math. Here is the double cool part. A factory engine in a factory car has a 50,000 mile warranty. A factory engine installed by the Audi technician at an Audi Dealership, 12,000 mile warranty. If I was racing this car on the track I could accept those kinds of engine failure numbers. But I'm an "old guy" just doing average city and freeway driving. 2012	4dr Hatch turbocharged 335hp 3.0L V6 Hybrid 7-speed automated manual AWD	I have just under 20,000 miles on this car (January, 2013) and it has not presented one problem in ownership. There have been a couple minor factory proactive remediation items, but otherwise consistent day in and day out. see full Audi review
2010	4dr Wagon turbocharged 220hp 2.0L I4 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD	65,000 miles and not a single problem other than routine oil changes and tires. My BMW 335i is always in the shop and is a maintenance nightmare. see full Audi review
2009	2dr Convertible turbocharged 230hp 2.0L I4 6-speed automated manual FWD	This is the second time in 3 years I am taking the TT roadster back to the dealer for problems with the convertible top. Nice it always fails in the down position in the worst possible time. First fix was replacing both hydraulic motors. 2008	4dr Sedan supercharged 329hp 3.0L V6 8-speed shiftable automatic AWD	This car has never let me sitting and would hope not for the money paid except when i let the gas run to low and was a minute from a gas station. The paint seems to scratch very easily which i have my car in a garage and somehow find new scratches. see full Audi review

My experience thus far as been excellent -- have only had one item repaired in 18 months of ownership as I bought the car used. see full Audi review
2006	4dr Sedan turbocharged 200hp 2.0L I4 6-speed manual AWD	This car is bullet-proof. End of story. The B7 A4 is the evolution of B6/B7 platform and most of the kinks are ironed out in the final years. No worries here. see full Audi review

So far both front axles have been replaced, several tires, various other suspension/steering bits, and a few rattles. One of the windows auto up/down feature broke then fixed itself.
