3 responses | Fun comfortable car. Reliable, fuel efficient, fast acceleration, excellent braking, and handling. Member5823 Must have timing chain. Timing belt unacceptable. Bulletproof engine, and transmission. Four, or six cylinder turbocharged models preferred. Rear wheel drive unacceptable. Front wheel drive preferred, or all wheel drive acceptable. Looked at BMW 5 series, Mercedes E class, and Lexus GS. Still doing research. |

A full array of dashboard options, i.e. Intermittent wipers, trip odometers, outside temp gauge, cruise control, etc., is important. 2 responses | Good highway car Member5708 Pickup/acceleration, road holding, comfort. (V6 or Turbo). Drove Subaru Legacy V6 and really liked it. Wondering about 2014 Chrysler 200 (new) which is available to me for about $22,000 (plus tax). Tried a few 4 cylinder cars (Camry, Sonata) and did not like them as they lacked acceleration/pickup. Camry V6,... |
