I'm looking at 2017 Stingray convertibles. I'm wondering if it's better to get a loaded Camaro instead of an entry-level Stingray.

Priorities: Powertrain performance / Handling / Reliability & durability

Need minimum of 2 seats

Will consider both new and used cars

When I had a 1999 C5 Hardtop Corvette I always missed the extra two seats in the rear.

The Camaro convertible might offer the performance beyond the base 6.2l shared between them on the performance front. The Camaro non-convertible shares the 7.0l and 6 2 supercharger ed version.

The 2017 Camaro is much better looking than the version it replaced. The C7 or Stingray has grown on me yet.

Looking at the praise given to the latest Camaro, it looks tempting. I would probably get the loaded Camaro over the base Corvette. I've always liked the Corvette more though. They are cars that you have to test drive a while to compare. Everyone has their opinions.
