Hey everyone,
I'm considering selling my 10 yo Ford Focus ZX5- I have loved, loved this car but it is getting to the age that a few things are wearing. It has been roomy, fun, fuel-efficient, and still looks good after all these years. It's been perfect.

New or used is okay. New priced up to low 30s, or late model used, mid 20s. I am a single person so I do not need an extremely practical car but I do want one that is functional in rain and snow. I plan on owning one car. My...

I moved from the California Bay Area to Western Massachusetts a year ago with several dogs and a 2011 Ford Flex Limited. When I lived in the Bay Area, I worked for a wonderful animal shelter and routinely transported dogs (up to 8 including 2 dog crates) between Gilroy and...

We are approaching our 60's. Our boys left the house and left a 60 lbs Springer Spaniel behind. Our yearly milage dropped from 20K to about 12K thanks to the lack of soccer and boyscout activities. I imagine we will now fly more and rent but still do day trips...

I've offered some advice here so I thought I'd ask for opinions too. I'm a car guy- used to do all my own work when such was possible. Cars owned were BMW 335i (current), Audi S4 Avant, VW Passat 1.8T, Passat VR6. All bought CPO with long warranties. I live...

I'm moving to California and looking at some hot hatch options. I currently drive the 2013 Jetta Hybrid and am happy with the performance and fuel economy, but the battery really hampers trunch space so I am now looking for hatch back options.

Currently I have my eyes on...

Subaru Impreza 2010 (used) -- front seat felt cramped, and there was no rear window wiper. Does anyone know if more recent models have the rear wiper?

I am in the market for a fun, practical 2015-2016 mid-size sedan that I will feel comfortable handing over to my daughter in 4 years when she gets her license. Reliability, safety, handling and quiet comfort are all important to me but may be unatainable for what I will spend...

I dont want a fast car, only a comfortable and not very expensive to own car.

So I am 19 and absolutely love driving. I learned how to drive on my dads 6 speed mini cooper S and fell in love with driving stick. It's time to buy a nicer car than my '02 accord, which is a manual transmission too and my next car must...

I street park in a city, so smaller is better all else equal, and I'll live with dings
Not commuting, and I can fix stuff, so reliability isn't the top concern to me (but replacing a driveline while parallel parked is probably not happening, so some reliability matters)

I've had three Volkswagens (gasoline) over the course of 30 years and am unsure what to get next. I keep my cars for a long time and drive approx. 30,000 km/year - mostly highway & city commuting. Fuel efficiency and reliability are my two main concerns and I've always preferred...

99% of my driving is going to be the daily 1+ hour commute. The rest of the time will be for weekend trips with my wife/wife+family. That said, I need four seats but I don't need a ton of cargo space.

I want some power, handling, decent fuel efficiency,...

I'm looking for a car for my daily commute (30 minutes of back roads), but which can handle vacations too: highway travel with 3-4 adults and their gear. My current Fiat 500 doesn''t cut it for the latter use and is a bit too rough over nasty pavement.
