The Right Car for Me: Fun, reliable, daily driver

Youve come to the right place. i have just completed extensive research for a car with the same characteristics. The clear winner is the BMW 228i, or for 2017 its called 230i. Just a well rated is the sportier brother, 235i now the 240i and both in the "M" version. This is the first model bimmer to receive an excellent reliability rating from Consumer Reports. Of course, keep in mind the 2 series just began life in 2014. Reliability for the long haul? Who knows. But it is surely fun to drive!

I just bought an Accord (4 cyl) but also looked at a Mazda 6 (also 4 cyl) which I liked a lot.I suggest that you test drive one. mazda hasn't figured out how to sell the 6 like it has with the 3, which is too bad. i found it to have good power and handling and the manual transmission was pretty smooth. You can get them at a good price too since they are slow sellers. I'm fairly certain the 2 touring models are available as 6 cylinders.
surprised to hear the V-6 accords have transmission issues but then I was interested in 4 cyl with a stick. You might have better luck with the 2011-2012 accords as those were the last 2 years of that design. Good luck!

For both handling the reliability, the 2 is the best BMW.

Skip the Benz, Bimmer, buy the Buick, says Consumer Reports. The Regal GS offers AWD with torque vectoring rear that is a hoot to drive. But it is a little on the heavy side so we opted for a used Cadillac ATS as it is almost 400 lbs lighter and has the handling edge against the Buick.
