Hey everyone,
I'm considering selling my 10 yo Ford Focus ZX5- I have loved, loved this car but it is getting to the age that a few things are wearing. It has been roomy, fun, fuel-efficient, and still looks good after all these years. It's been perfect.

I'm looking...

Looking for a sport touring roadster for seasonal use. Have driven sporting vehicles most of my life and value good handling and reasonable performance. My current go car is an 05 Passat TDI which is the best overall vehicle I have ever owned. My warm weather car is an 03...

I currently own a beat up 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT and am looking for something fresh. Fortunately I've acquired a good job so I can afford to invest in a car that will last sometime, but I don't want to find myself in a long term loan as I am...

I've offered some advice here so I thought I'd ask for opinions too. I'm a car guy- used to do all my own work when such was possible. Cars owned were BMW 335i (current), Audi S4 Avant, VW Passat 1.8T, Passat VR6. All bought CPO with long warranties. I live...

I'm moving to California and looking at some hot hatch options. I currently drive the 2013 Jetta Hybrid and am happy with the performance and fuel economy, but the battery really hampers trunch space so I am now looking for hatch back options.

Currently I have my eyes on...

About five years ago I briefly considered getting a Honda S2000, then a Mazda RX-8. My father then bought one of the latter. We figured that once he tired of it, I'd take it off his hands.

It took much longer than he expected, but he has now tired...

Let the debate begin. I am extremely pulled between purchasing a VW Jetta GLI or Honda Civic SI.

My big 2 needs for my car are (1) 4 door (2) 6 Speed

I would also like to keep it under 28K which leads me to the above 2...

Looking at Honda Civic and CR-V. Really like the CR-V for roominess and interior as well as pretty good economy.
Wife wants smaller car with better gas mileage and top safety pick. So Civic looks good, but I'm still not sure.
Would be happy with a good used Civic for...

I am in the market for a fun, practical 2015-2016 mid-size sedan that I will feel comfortable handing over to my daughter in 4 years when she gets her license. Reliability, safety, handling and quiet comfort are all important to me but may be unatainable for what I will spend...

Looking to replace a 97 Civic that was rear-ended badly (rear seats pushed into front seats...glad it was just me in the car). It was a great, reliable car with 312k miles with normal maintenance (and lots of torn CV boots). Fun to drive, good handling (mild suspension work and...

I street park in a city, so smaller is better all else equal, and I'll live with dings
Not commuting, and I can fix stuff, so reliability isn't the top concern to me (but replacing a driveline while parallel parked is probably not happening, so some reliability matters)

I am 6'6" - so interior space and head room is critical.
Second is reliability - my perfect car never needs to have work done except for oil change

I'm looking for a reliable car that doesn't guzzle gas, that can handle mountain roads (i.e., has a little pep) and that is fun to drive. So far I have driven (and eliminated) a 2014 Kia Soul, a 2012 Honda Civic and a 2015 Honda Fit. I also drove a...

I've had three Volkswagens (gasoline) over the course of 30 years and am unsure what to get next. I keep my cars for a long time and drive approx. 30,000 km/year - mostly highway & city commuting. Fuel efficiency and reliability are my two main concerns and I've always preferred...

Looking for a FWD, manual transmission wagon or crossover, under $24k. This is a very small pool of vehicles in the USA.

Settled on a Mazda CX-5 or VW Golf Sportwagen. Unfortunately, the Mazda, though roomy, has anemic performance (manual transmission models get a smaller engine - why???)....
