That parking situation kind of wipes out almost every luxury crossover except the Encore, Audi Q3, BMW X1, Infiniti QX50, and Mercedes GLA. The Buick Envision is 72.4" and is a nicer car than all of these. Two of my neighbors drive a BMW X1 and they like them.
The Audi Q3 is outdated, the Mercedes doesn't drive well, the QX50 is ancient feeling, and the BMW probably won't be reliable.
It is 2018, so I don't know why the Encore luxury CUV isn't even available with Automatic emergency collision braking. Even the $16k Toyota Yaris subcompact has it standard. The shape of the Encore could be considered cute, but it looks so boring IMO. More so with the Envision. It is reliable though and reviews say it drives comfortably. It isn't fun though and drives like a marshmallow, but that is what it is supposed to be.
The Mazda CX-5 is not a luxury SUV, but it does feel luxurious in the top trim. It is beautiful on the outside, is reliable, and gets decent mileage. The width is 72.5" so that may be pushing it. It is available with more features than the Buick Encore and is a better value. It has a larger cargo area than the Encore. Quiet interior and fun to drive for an SUV. If you go for this car, make sure it is a 2017 or newer because the current redesign is much better than before. It has all the latest safety features.
My choice would be the Encore if you can't go for the CX-5 or Envision.
Another thing: Consumer Reports' owner satisfaction surveys. The Buick Encore is rated as average. The Envision is below average or "Fair." The Mazda CX-5 is rated as well above average or "Excellent." These surveys just ask current owners if they liked their car enough to buy it again. Owners of the CX-5 were way more happy with their car than the Buick owners were.
