So far, I really like the Mazda3--I think it fits all my needs in that it's safe and a cheap lease. I also saw that the Honda Civic is a similar price but it didn't score as high in safety. Other cars I'm considering are the Volkswagen Jetta, Nissan Sentra, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Elantra.

Suggestions??

Of these, my personal preference is the Mazda3 for styling and handling.

I also like the s better than the i, because the car looks best with the larger wheels and the 2.5-liter engine is much more powerful while nearly as efficient. But the s is also more expensive.

Have you test driven any of them? If so, what did you think?
