Keep an eye on the coolant level and oil level. If those maintain their levels you are good to go!

Thanks for all the feedback, I purchased an older model (2008) Forester with 61,000 miles on it. I am having a bit of buyers remorse, but its extra clean, great condiiton, etc.I want a smallish SUV that can actually go off road.

Congrats! It's nice to know people are taking our advice on this website:) Good luck with your car! And do what NormT said. Oil can be a problem in these Subarus.
